Minecraft is a sandbox gaming at first created by Swedish game designer Markus "Notch" Persson, and later developed and released by Mojang. Minecraft is a three-dimensional sandbox game that does not have any specific goals for the gamer to perform, allowing players plenty of independence in choosing how to learn the gameHowever, there is an achievements system. Gameplay by default is first person, but players have the choice to learn in third person setting. The core gameplay revolves around breaking and inserting blocks. The game world is composed of rough 3D objects--mainly cubes--arranged in a set grid pattern and representing different materials, such as dirt, stone, various ores, water, lava, tree trunks, etc. While players can move across the world freely, objects can only be located at predetermined locations on the grid.
